The Chamber is part of a broad community coalition, Nashville for All of Us, that is urging Nashvillians to vote against ratification of two referenda on the Jan. 22 special election ballot. The first referendum would require all government services to be provided in English only, subject to limited exceptions; the second would make it easier to amend the Metro charter.
Both referenda would reduce the effectiveness of Metro government and weaken Nashville's business environment. Help preserve Nashville's reputation as a welcoming city to all, including businesses looking to bring jobs to the area, by voting against these referenda.
